Not many people know that macOS has a hidden secondary clipboard.

  • If you want to copy a file from one folder to another, for example, you can select it, press Command/⌘+C, then click in the folder you want to copy to and press Command/⌘+V.
  • The main way to view your clipboard history is to paste (Command/⌘+V).
  • Find and select Show Clipboard to see the last item you copied.
