Not many people know that macOS has a hidden secondary clipboard.
If you want to copy a file from one folder to another, for example, you can select it, press Command/⌘+C, then click in the folder you want to copy to and press Command/⌘+V. The main way to view your clipboard history is to paste (Command/⌘+V). Find and select Show Clipboard to see the last item you copied. You can find it and view clipboard through the Finder menu, in the top toolbar. 
A Mac clipboard is one of those macOS programs that runs in the background. Clicking it will exempt the item from being cleared when you clear your clipboard history. If you look closely at the panel, you will see that each item has a little pin icon on it. Scroll through it and click an item you want to paste again. A little panel will open that will list all items, images and text, that you copied to your clipboard. To view your clipboard history, tap the Win+V keyboard shortcut. Select the Clipboard tab, and turn on clipboard history. Open the Settings app and go to the System group of settings. Before you can view clipboard history on Windows 10, you need to enable it. First, make sure you’re on the October 2018 build by opening the run box, and typing winver in it.
